Panel B1: Reenergizing Supplier Diversity

Programs have emerged over the years to ensure that diverse businesses are a part of the mainstream of US corporations and part of the nation’s free enterprise system.  Yet many New Majority businesses still feel disconnected from the global corporate supply chain and struggle with gaining access to appropriate decision-makers.  Are corporations committed to including the New Majority into their strategies for business growth? This session will explore ongoing concerns experienced by diverse suppliers in pursuing business opportunities with major corporations.  Corporate leaders will share sound business practices underway to re-energize supplier diversity as a critical part of their strategic business agenda.
