As General Auditor of MasterCard, Ms. Fiorella is responsible for providing independent and objective assurance on the design and effectiveness of the Company’s risk management, internal controls, and governance processes. She is accountable to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and works closely with the Company’s independent auditor. Ms. Fiorella also sits on the Company’s Risk Management Committee and is a member of its Global Diversity and Inclusion Council.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Fiorella was responsible for MasterCard’s global compliance programs, including ethics, anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, trade sanctions, and privacy & data protection.
Before joining MasterCard, Ms. Fiorella conducted financial fraud investigations and helped organizations develop ethics and compliance programs with KPMG. She also served as an Assistant District Attorney in New York County and as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the New York City Law Department.
Ms. Fiorella graduated magna cum laude with honors from New York Law School and is admitted to practice law in the state of New York. She received a bachelor’sdegree in Fine Arts from Marymount Manhattan College, where she also graduated magna cum laude with honors.
Ms. Fiorella currently sits on the boards of Marymount Manhattan College and the Citizen’s Crime Commission of New York City.
