Dr. Eng is the President& CEO of CSMI. which specializes in engineering consulting to the FDA & USDA regulated industries. CSMI is the leader in packaging and process innovation in both the public and private sector.
Dr. Eng is focused on promoting girls and women with an emphasis on STEM (Science, prescription Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education. She currently sits on Board of Directors of the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital and the Illinois College of Optometry.In the public sector, Dr. Eng sits on the State of Illinois Business Enterprise Program Council and the Asian American Advisory Committee for Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth. Recently, she was appointed on the Advisory Board for National Asian/Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce & Entrepreneurship (ACE). She was the first Asian American to be appointed to the Advisory Committee of the Export Import Bank of the United States with other previous Board of Directors positions at the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana and the YWCA Metropolitan Chicago.
A graduate of University of California, San Diego with a Biochemistry and Biology degree, a Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry, Dr. Eng resides in North Barrington, Illinoiswith her husband and 11 year old daughter.
