Rudy Pamintuan is the Managing Director of Sherman Worldwide where he leads day-to-day efforts of the firm, its business units and all client initiatives – developing, creating and managing projects while overseeing the efforts of over 200 employees in 9 regional offices. Sherman Worldwide provides clients with advisory and professional services in the areas of international affairs, technology, trade and security.
As an entrepreneur, Rudy has focused on creating American jobs through foreign investment – having raised over $150M from overseas investors for U.S. based projects in 2016.
Prior, Rudy served as an appointee for President George W. Bush – advising the President on Asian American and Pacific Island issues. Currently, Rudy assists President-Elect Donald J Trump Transition Team in a non-official capacity.
Rudy is committed to philanthropic engagement — maintaining aggressive involvement through his volunteer work in the areas of global health, education, women and children. He serves on a variety of boards including to the Batonga Foundation, the International Leadership Foundation, and Charity4Life. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2011 National WWAAC (Who’s Who in Asian American Community) Award.
For the past 7 years, Rudy has served as the senior advisor for the US Cyber Challenge – a national effort to recruit cyber security enthusiasts to the Federal Government and the U.S. Military.
Rudy is a strong advocate for strengthening relations between China and the US and currently serves as the Chairman of the US-China Investment and Trade Center.
