Panel 3: Leadership Evolution: Cutting edge leadership development practices to engage a multigenerational, multicultural workforce
91% of Millennials aspire to be a leader, according to “The Millennial Leadership Study” by WorkplaceTrends.com. At the same time, there is a disconnect between their aspirations and their perception of the current state of leadership development in their organizations: 55% of millennials surveyed said they are not satisfied with the leadership development opportunities offered by their company.
The same study reveals that 43% of Millennials are motivated to become leaders to empower others. This panel of distinguished Asian American leaders will talk about effective strategies to prepare both sides for passing the leadership torch and what, if any, cultural nuances should be taken into consideration for the Asian American business community.
