Allen Chen is a Diversity and Inclusion Consultant within the Global Diversity and Inclusion Organization at Bank of America. As a Diversity and Inclusion Consultant, Allen helps drive the strategy and initiatives that represent nearly 300 chapters around the world supported by over 160,000 members within 11 different unique Employee Networks- all while ensuring we continue to move Bank of America’s Diversity and Inclusion story forward.
Allen has been with the bank since 2003 and began his career with a legacy organization, MBNA, as an outbound telemarketing agent. Prior to his current role, he served in various leadership roles within the Card Organization, including managing the AAA Cobrand credit card portfolio.
Allen earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University. He is passionate about philanthropy and diversity and inclusion both as an advocate at Bank of America or within the Atlanta Market. At the bank, he currently serves as the Enterprise Chair of the Asian Leadership Network (ALN); in Atlanta, he serves as the President and Chairman of the board of a non-profit organization, National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP). He was awarded the Presidential Service Award for volunteerism in 2016, 2017, and 2018. In 2017 and 2019, Allen was recognized as one of the Top 25 Most Influential Asian Americans in Georgia and was a Global Diversity and Inclusion award winner. Allen resides in Kennesaw, GA.
