Pam is a business leader, thought leader, and Organization Development (OD) practice leader.  She is currently serving as Senior Vice President, Chief Talent Officer at Pfizer Inc.  In this role Pam is responsible for leading strategy for programs and services that impact nearly 100,000 employees globally in the areas of talent management, learning and development, employee engagement, organization culture, diversity and inclusion, and workforce analytics.  Pam joined Pfizer from Hospira Inc., where she spent 6 years as VP, Organization Development and Chief Talent Officer. 

Prior to joining Hospira, Pam was an independent external OD consultant for 12 years who worked globally and across a number of different industry sectors including financial services, healthcare, professional services, consumer products, insurance, and education.  Pam’s corporate clients included Deutsche Bank, Kaiser Permanente, Mercer, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Unilever, Allstate, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.  Pam began her post-MBA career in the real estate investment advisor industry doing real estate acquisitions, portfolio management, and managing a private Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) for pension fund advisors JMB Realty, Rosenberg Realty Equity Funds (RREEF), and AMB Institutional Realty Advisors.  Prior to attending business school, Pam worked for Baxter Travenol (now Baxter), providing management consulting services to not-for-profit hospitals.

Pam’s professional passion is performance excellence, and from her diverse professional experiences, she has developed a unique perspective on what creates and sustains excellence. She has worked with individuals, teams and organizations to excel by assessing needs, and offering solutions that impact performance and productivity. With and MBA and a PhD, she considers financial and human factors and how to manage both using sound organizational management thinking and focused business metrics.

Pam has received a number of honors including recognition by Black Enterprise Magazine as one of the 2017 Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Business; 2016 Trailblazer Award by the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAHR); the Multicultural Leader Award (2014), and one of Illinois’ Most Powerful and Influence Women Award (2015) by the Illinois Diversity Council; an award winner in the Business Impact category for the 2014 Learning in Practice Award sponsored by Chief Learning Officer magazine; and, the 2012 Rising Star Award by HR Executive Magazine.  Pam was also profiled in the Society of Human Resource Professionals’ (SHRM) HR Magazine (May, 2015) and was profiled and appeared on the cover of the February issue of Chief Learning Officer magazine (2012).

Pam holds a PhD in Organizational Psychology, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BA in Psychology with a concentration in Organizational Behavior from Yale University.

Pam recently relocated from Chicago to New York City for her role with Pfizer.  She is originally from NY and is happy to be closer to her family on the east coast…particularly her two teenage nieces in MA.  During her free time Pam enjoys traveling and interior design.
